Tim Dorsey and Serge Storms brings the manic Christmas spirit to Triggerfish Lane in When Elves Attack: A Joyous Christmas Greeting from the Criminal Nutbars of the Sunshine State. This 14th Serge Storms novel is an absolute joy, yuletide or not

Triggerfish Lane was the home of Jim and Martha Davenport in the fourth (and first chronologically) Serge Storms novel Triggerfish Twist. Jim and Martha have moved back to the lane and it would not be the same without their favorite neighbors Serge and Coleman. This time around, Serge is determined to bring the Christmas spirit to all those around him whether they want it or not.

Adventures include buying a Christmas tree so big it gets stuck sideways in the front door of Serge’s new home and a Christmas log that serves as a personal pleasuring device.

All the usual suspects are present in When Elves Attack including G-Unit and City and Country, the on again off again girfriends of Serge and Coleman.

Of course no Tim Dorsey and Serge Storms comic thriller would be complete without some elaborate murders. There are only three here and they involve a frozen turkey, a drugged out elf, and Lego blocks.

Fear not though, the spirit of Christmas takes over Serge Storms and even he gets lenient.

When Elves Attack: A Joyous Christmas Greeting from the Criminal Nutbars of the Sunshine State is a perfect read for those looking for a comic thriller.
