BURBANK, CA (October 9, 2007) – Policemen, paramedics and firefighters don't wear capes and can't leap over buildings, but the blood, sweat and tears put into the effort to do so makes them superheroes in their own right. While the average person is getting home from work, cooking dinner and preparing for bed, the members of the 55th Precinct and Station 55 report for the 3-11 p.m. shift (also known as the "third watch"), with the hopes of making the streets of Manhattan just a little bit safer. Currently listed as the 4th most requested unreleased show, Warner Home Video will be releasing the hotly anticipated Third Watch: The Complete First Season DVD on February 5, 2008 for $59.98.

Created by John Wells (ER, The West Wing) and Edward Allen Bernero (Criminal Minds), Third Watch: The Complete First Season is an Emmy® Award Winning Series that follows professional rescuers as they swallow their fears and serve the city of New York. The area between the police precinct and firehouse, affectionately dubbed "Camelot," is the location where the characters of this all-star ensemble come to life. Fresh-faced Police Officer Ty Davis Jr. (Coby Bell) deals with life as a rookie and Paramedic Monte "Doc" Partner (Michael Beach) takes newbie Carlos Nieto (Anthony Ruivivar) under his wing. The impulsiveness of the hot-headed Officer Maurice "Bosco" Boscorelli (Jason Wiles) tests the patience of his partner Faith Yokas (Molly Price) and angers colleague John "Sully" Sullivan (Skip Sudduth). Paramedic Bobby Caffey (Bobby Cannavale) secretly longs for his co-worker Kim Zambrano (Kim Raver) who may still be in love with her handsome, firefighter ex-husband Jimmy Doherty (Eddie Cibrian).

Third Watch: The Complete First Season contains 22 riveting episodes of non-stop action, trauma, drama and romance," said Rosemary Markson, WHV Vice President, TV & Special Interest Marketing. "The Third Watch fan base is unwavering and WHV is thrilled to release this outstanding series on DVD for the first time ever."
